Optimal placement of electric insect traps

Number of devices:

• Determine the number of traps needed for the area to be protected

Light sources:

• Install traps well away from windows, doors, and other light sources to maximize attraction to insects

Heat sources and air flows:

• Avoid installing near heaters or air conditioners as these may affect the capture effect

Sensitive areas:

• In food processing areas, do not use traps with electrical grids, but instead use traps with adhesive film

Maintenance:

• Choose easily accessible locations for installation and maintenance

Positioning in space:

• Place traps at 90° angles to windows and doors to catch flying insects
• Ideally, install traps between potential entry points and the areas to be protected

Mounting height:

• The optimal height for most traps is around 2 meters
